In Donetsk, sergeant Sviatoslav Deinka, a resident of the village of Kupel, born in 1976, was killed in battle against Russian occupiers. The soldier had been considered missing for a long time.
Sviatoslav Deinka was a former commander of a combat vehicle and also the commander of a squad in the 3rd mechanized section of the 2nd mechanized platoon of the 1st mechanized company. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he bravely defended Ukraine.
Unfortunately, the hero died on February 24, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of courage and selflessness.
