During his service, he mostly worked on vehicle repairs. In May 2025, when his unit was stationed in the Pokrovsk direction of the front, Ruslan received a combat assignment. He informed his wife that he would not be able to contact her for a while and promised to call when he returned. Unfortunately, soldier Ruslan Liskevych did not return from this assignment, and the family received notification of his disappearance.
