Law enforcement officials have established that the organizer of the criminal group is a 29-year-old resident of Varash, who is currently in custody for a similar offense. He was joined in his illegal activities by two Varash residents, aged 38 and 42, who remained at large. Communication between the criminals was maintained through phone calls.

Following the organizer’s instructions, the participants purchased psychotropic substances, concealed them in packages along with hygiene products and food, and then sent them to correctional facilities. As a result, law enforcement documented six instances of illegal shipment of PVP to places of imprisonment.

Investigators, under the procedural guidance of the Rivne Regional Prosecutor’s Office, have notified three men of suspicion, accusing them of committing a crime as defined by Article 27, Part 2 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal acquisition, storage, shipment for the purpose of sale, and sale of especially dangerous psychotropic substances, committed by a group of individuals in conspiracy, to places of imprisonment and repeatedly).

The court has chosen preventive measures in the form of house arrest for the 38-year-old and 42-year-old individuals involved in the case.
