Viktor Yuzepchuk and Volodymyr Kulai are the laureates of the “Klym Savur Cross” award, which was bestowed by the deputies of the Rivne Regional Council. By a decision supported by 50 deputies, these two residents of Rivne region were recognized for their contributions.

Viktor Yuzepchuk, a pediatric orthopedic trauma surgeon at the Rivne Regional Children’s Hospital, has over 42 years of experience in medical practice. Since the beginning of the war, he has visited Donetsk and Luhansk regions 25 times, providing assistance to civilians and military personnel. His efforts have helped save the limbs of hundreds of defenders.
Volodymyr Kulai, a major and commander of the anti-aircraft missile division in the 155th Separate Motorized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, is highly respected among his comrades and commanders.
“The Klym Savur Cross” is awarded based on the collective support of the parliamentary body. The award has already been presented to other defenders, such as Oleksandr Tymoshchuk, Vasyl Yashchuk, Taras Derkach, and Valentyn Derelo. A monetary prize of 25,000 hryvnias is also included with the award.
