A 32-year-old resident of Dubno, driving a “Renault Zoe,” failed to ensure the safety of his maneuver before changing direction on the “Kyiv – Chop” highway. He entered the oncoming traffic lane, where he collided with a “Kia Rio” and a “Volkswagen Golf” that was traveling behind.
As a result of the accident, the 49-year-old driver of the “Kia” died at the scene, and her 12-year-old daughter passed away in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. The driver’s other daughter, a 15-year-old girl, sustained injuries but has already been discharged from the medical facility.
The perpetrator of the accident is currently in the hospital. He has already been informed of the suspicion of violating traffic safety rules, which led to the deaths of several individuals. The issue of choosing a preventive measure is being addressed, and necessary examinations have been appointed.
