In the village of Lyachany, located in Volyn, an 18-year-old driver of a Daewoo car lost control and crashed into a tree. As a result of the incident, both the driver and a 16-year-old passenger were injured.

Both young individuals are residents of the Rivne region, as reported by the National Police of Volyn.
Investigators have already entered information into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. This is related to violations of traffic safety rules that resulted in moderate injuries.
If the driver’s guilt is proven, he faces imprisonment for up to three years, as well as a ban on driving for a period of three to five years.
