On Saturday, in the 23rd round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL), Veres faced Obolon in Rivne, showcasing a confident performance in front of their home fans.

The match ended with Veres winning 2-0, thanks to two goals scored in the second half.
The first goal came in the 73rd minute after a successful long pass from Boiko, which Ndukwe converted with a header, lifting the ball over the Obolon goalkeeper.
Just 12 minutes later, Veres had the chance to double their lead when Sharai was stopped by Fedorivskyi’s hand in the penalty area, resulting in a penalty being awarded. Kharatina confidently converted the spot-kick, securing his team’s success.
This victory allowed Veres to climb one spot higher in the UPL standings, surpassing Obolon.
