Rivnens’kyi Veres goalkeeper Valentyn Horokh has become one of the best shot-stoppers in the Ukrainian Premier League, making it into the top five goalkeepers who have most frequently saved their teams from conceding goals.

During the fourteen matches of the first part of the Ukrainian championship, Horokh made 48 saves, which allowed him to secure a high position in the rankings.
The leaders in the number of saves were Oleg Bilyk from “Epitsentr” (67 saves), Ivan Pakholyuk from “Koloss” (60 saves), Valerii Voskonyan from “Poltava” (51 saves), and Oleksandr Saputin from “Zoria” (51 saves).
It is worth noting that Valentyn Horokh was awarded the title of Veres’ best player according to fans in the first part of the season. As part of the red-and-black team, the goalkeeper played 15 matches (14 in the championship and 1 in the Ukrainian Cup), conceding 15 goals.
