Rivne Region: In December 2025, vegetable prices significantly increased

In December 2025, the Rivne region recorded a 0.6% increase in prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages.

According to the data from the Main Statistical Office, vegetable prices rose the most, increasing by 7.4%. Prices for sunflower oil, eggs, processed grain products, sour cream, cream, fish and fish products, rice, dairy products, butter, flour-based confectionery, beef, sugar-based confectionery, chocolate, bread, lard, non-alcoholic beverages, margarine, and other vegetable fats also increased by 4.7% to 0.5%. At the same time, prices for sugar, fruits, poultry meat, milk, pork, and cheeses decreased by 5.8% to 0.6%.

Prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products rose by 1.4%, which is related to the increase in tobacco product prices by 2.5%.

Transportation services overall increased by 1.1%, particularly due to a 2.6% rise in prices for road passenger transport, as well as a 1.3% increase in fuel and lubricants.

The cost of household items and appliances rose by 0.5%, resulting from a 1.4% increase in the prices of goods and services for daily household maintenance, as well as a 0.5% rise in furniture and furnishings, carpets, and other coverings.

In the healthcare sector, prices decreased by 0.5% due to a 1.1% drop in the prices of pharmaceutical products and medical equipment. At the same time, hospital services increased by 0.8%, and outpatient services rose by 0.4%.

Clothing and footwear became cheaper by 4.3%, with footwear prices dropping by 4.6% and clothing prices by 4.2%.
