For the first time in the history of Ukrainian football, a media team challenged a professional UPL club, showcasing a spectacular game and emotions that made the match a true celebration.

Two Philosophies — One Field

MFC ProFan, which won the first media football championship in Ukraine, the UA Steel League, and NK Veres, a professional club with a long history, joined forces in an unusual format. ProFan brings together bloggers and former football players, promoting football culture through creative and social initiatives.

In turn, NK Veres took advantage of the international break to organize a real football show for its fans.

Match Result and Game Progress

The match was filled with emotions: early in the game, players from both teams sustained injuries. The referee immediately issued a yellow card to a media player, and Eren Aydin converted a penalty, opening the scoring — 1:0.

The dynamics of the game intensified, and ProFan managed to equalize the score, but NK Veres left no chance for their opponents, turning the match into a true spectacle. On the field, NK Veres president Ivan Nadyein impressed everyone by scoring two goals, boosting the team’s morale.

In the end, Veres achieved a crushing victory with a score of 5:1.

Regardless of the final score, the match was a victory for the football community: the atmosphere in the stadium resembled a grand final with songs, fan zones, and autograph sessions.

“We didn’t perceive the game as a show — it was a real match. ProFan proved that bloggers can not only talk about football but also play it. For us, it’s a great relief, and for the fans, it’s positive energy and a true spectacle,” shared his impressions Igor Kharatin, captain of NK Veres.

Representatives of ProFan emphasized that this match was an important event for all participants in the media and football movement. Kyrylo Duchev, captain of ProFan, noted: “For us, it was not just a match — it was a significant event for everyone following the development of media football. We are grateful to Veres for the respect and the opportunity to prove that media teams are an integral part of Ukrainian football.”

New Format — New Opportunities

This match marked an important milestone for Ukrainian football, uniting the creativity of media players and the experience of professionals. Pavlo Zhurylo, founder of the Betking Foundation, emphasized the importance of such a format for the development of Ukrainian football.

Although the game had a friendly nature, the competition on the field was serious, and the emotions were genuine. For fans, it was a unique chance to see their favorite media stars alongside UPL professionals.
