The president of the football club “Veres,” Ivan Nadyein, discussed important issues regarding mobilization in Ukraine, emphasizing justice and inequality in the reservation system.
This is reported by Rivne24
Nadyein raised the question of why some football players, earning significant sums, receive reservations, while ordinary citizens working in construction or other fields remain unprotected. He noted: “You have football players, they are reserved, earning 50-60-70 thousand. Hypothetically, there is a father of two children who works in construction, earning 20-30 thousand, a fan of ‘Veres’ – updated data, but unreserved.”
The club president emphasized that justice should be at the core of mobilization processes: “Is this fair in the context of benefit to the country? Is it fair that an IT specialist earning 200 thousand creates jobs, while a football player earning 60 thousand creates nothing?”
He also highlighted the importance of supporting territorial recruitment centers (TRC): “Therefore, we all must stand by the TRC. Because the only ones who are currently pushing this topic in the media and publicly are the Russians. So our position should be: we all must say that the TRC are the best people we have in the country today.”
Nadyein raised the issue of the justice of war, noting that “the war is unjust, so let’s address these topics… Sooner or later, each of us could end up there – and we must be prepared for that.”
Furthermore, he pointed out the problems arising within the TRC system, particularly instances of violence when people are forcibly taken: “You can talk about the influence of Russia and so on, but this is a video where a person is pulled from a car, the door is ripped off, TRC officers drag him, lead him, pull him, beat him, while the police turn away.” Nadyein emphasized that such situations require attention and reform.
He also noted that changes are already taking place in mobilization issues, which involve maximum digitization, as it is impossible to win a war without it: “This is a problem, of course, but without this, there is no other way out. Without this, we will lose the war, and then we will be taken just the same – only by the Russians, only much worse.”
In conclusion, Nadyein assured that “the best people are working there – at the TRC.”
