The football club “Veres” has achieved a new record in the UPL, surpassing previous achievements for interceptions in a single match.

In the match of the 22nd round against “Polissya”, the “Veres” team made 73 interceptions, setting a new record for the 2025/26 season in the Ukrainian Premier League. The previous record belonged to “Rukh”, which had 71 interceptions and stood for a month and a half.
With an average of 37.15 interceptions per 90 minutes this season, “Veres” ranks fifth in the league. The highest averages are held by “Kryvbas” (41.9), “Obolon” (41.27), LNZ (38.27), and “Epicenter” (38.02).
