Officers from the criminal investigation department of the Rivne district detained a 26-year-old resident of Rivne who was behaving suspiciously near a forest belt in the village of Kolodenka. During a superficial check, law enforcement officers discovered a zip bag containing the psychotropic substance “Alpha-PVP” weighing about 40 grams.
The police detained the woman and placed her in a temporary detention facility.
As part of the criminal proceedings initiated for the illegal possession of psychotropic substances in particularly large amounts, investigators informed her of the suspicion.
The court chose a preventive measure for the suspect in the form of detention with the possibility of bail, which she did not pay, so she is currently in the detention center.
According to the sanctions of the article, the woman faces a punishment of 5 to 8 years of imprisonment.
