An emergency response drill was held at the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant.

The main goal of this event was to improve the organization of personnel notification and enhance the interaction of responsible committees. As part of the drill, skills for sheltering in protective structures, conducting evacuation measures, and checking personnel readiness at evacuation assembly points were practiced.
The drill took place at the industrial site of the plant, in the sanitary protection zone, and at evacuation assembly points in the city of Varash.
After receiving a signal about a simulated threat, employees took shelter in protective structures, followed by an organized evacuation using buses and private transport.
Evacuation assembly points were established in the city based on facilities of the Rivne NPP, including a vocational school, a cultural palace, a training center, a sanatorium-prophylactic, and the “Polissya” information center.
