On December 16 at 08:12, a report was received on the special line “101” about a fire in the village of Chemeryne, Sarny District. The fire broke out on Central Street, inside the ‘Fortuna’ store.

An emergency response team from the 8th State Fire and Rescue Unit of the city of Sarny and firefighters from the local fire brigade of the village of Tutovychi were promptly dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, rescuers discovered that the fire was located inside a brick building of the store measuring 40×15 m.
As a result of the fire, the following were destroyed by flames:
- a group of food and non-food products;
- trading equipment and furniture;
- a partition covering an area of 10 sq.m.
Two fire trucks and 11 rescuers were involved in extinguishing the fire.
Currently, the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are being determined by specialists.
