From December 22 to 27, air pollution was recorded in Rivne. During this week, the air showed exceedances of the daily maximum allowable concentrations of phenol, hydrogen fluoride, and formaldehyde.

In particular, the levels of pollutants in the air of Rivne exceeded the permissible standards for the following indicators:
- formaldehyde – 2.31 MAC (December 22);
- phenol – 1.43 MAC (December 26);
- hydrogen fluoride – 1.16 MAC (December 26).
