A drug supply and distribution channel has been dismantled at the Politska Correctional Colony, which is under the jurisdiction of the Western Interregional Department for the Execution of Criminal Sentences.

As a result of the conducted operational measures, it was established that a convict serving a sentence in the facility and a former convict from the same colony were involved in organizing this channel. Individuals from the Volyn region, particularly from the city of Kovel, also participated in the criminal scheme.
During authorized searches, a tablet, a SIM card from the mobile operator “Kyivstar,” and a notebook with rough notes were seized.
All individuals connected to this criminal activity have been detained and received notifications of suspicion.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing to establish all circumstances of the offense and any other possible accomplices.
