The Kostopil community bid farewell to fallen defender Andriy Stupnytsky.

Andriy Stupnytsky was mobilized for military service in 2024. After completing his training, he was assigned as a grenade launcher in a mechanized unit and served on the front lines in the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions.
On August 3, 2025, he was declared missing in action. Following a DNA analysis, he was officially recognized as deceased.
On April 27, the Kostopil community held a farewell ceremony for Andriy Stupnytsky. The warrior was honored with a service at the church in the village of Velykyi Mydsk, where he lived with his family, and he was buried in the local cemetery.
