A fatal car accident occurred on December 3 at around 1:00 PM on the “Kyiv-Chop” highway near the village of Kolodenka.

According to preliminary data, a 55-year-old driver of a “BMW X5”, a resident of Kolodenka, crossed into the oncoming lane, where he collided with a “Daf” truck loaded with animals. As a result of the collision, both vehicles veered off into the ditch, and the SUV overturned.
Unfortunately, the driver of the “BMW” died: rescuers extricated his body from the mangled vehicle.
A pre-trial investigation has been opened. An investigative operational group from the Main Directorate, rescuers, and patrol police are working at the scene. Traffic on the highway in this area is not hindered.
