In Rivne, police issued a protocol for violating nighttime silence

Yesterday around midnight in Rivne on Andriy Melnyk Street, police received a call about a persistent violation of silence in one of the apartment buildings.

The complainant reported that the neighbors had been disturbing the residents’ rest for a long time. Upon arriving at the scene, the officers recorded loud noises coming from the apartment indicated by the woman.

During the conversation with the violator, the police explained the legal requirements regarding maintaining silence at night, specifically from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, and issued a protocol under part 1 of Article 182 (Violation of Silence) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.

Maintaining silence is an important aspect of respecting the peace and safety of neighbors. In case of witnessing similar violations, citizens are advised to call 102 or 112.
