Buyers, without verifying information about the seller and reviews of the “stores,” trust bright photos and readily transfer money. Fraudsters may also pressure “clients,” assuring them that the product is selling out quickly. After receiving the funds, the scammers stop answering calls.
As a result, during December, five residents of the Rivne region lost nearly 30 thousand hryvnias due to the actions of fraudsters.
