“Of course, I am dissatisfied. I feel drained, just like the whole team. I believe the fans are experiencing similar emotions after the game. Unfortunately, we were unable to secure a victory today. Perhaps we can make up for the lost points in one of the upcoming matches,” the coach noted.
Commenting on the fairness of the result, he added: “Perhaps this result truly reflects what happened on the field, but we had the advantage during the game and lost the victory in stoppage time. This leaves an unpleasant aftertaste.”
Shandruk also commented on the substitution of Roman Honcharenko at halftime: “He was feeling discomfort in his muscle even before the match. We took a risk by trusting him with a starting position, but at halftime, we decided to substitute him to avoid a potential forced change.”
“Rostyslav Taranuha made a good debut today, considering he has only been with us for five days. He is a professional and physically handled the heavy load well. I congratulate him on his debut and thank him for today’s game,” added Oleg Shandruk.
