A case of a cat infected with rabies has been recorded in the Hoshchansky community, which occurred in the village of Bochanitsya.

In response to this case, a threat zone with a radius of 10 km has been established, which includes the following populated areas:
- Duliby, Franyivka, Zhavriv, Hlybochok, Kurozvany, Terentiyiv, Fedorivka, Rusyvel, Maikyv, Syniv, Symoniv, and the town of Hoshcha;
- forest and field hunting grounds of the Hoshchansky District of the UTMRA and the Ostroh District of the UTMRA.
As a result, starting from September 15, 2025, quarantine restrictions related to rabies have been imposed in the village of Bochanitsya, as well as in neighboring populated areas and in the forest and field areas that fall within the threat zone.
All necessary measures are currently being taken at the outbreak site to localize the situation in accordance with the existing guidelines.
