As of this year, two criminal proceedings related to offenses committed by employees of the State Enterprise “Forests of Ukraine” have been submitted to the court.

Among these cases are instances of attempted illegal logging and forgery of official documents that grant the right to conduct comprehensive sanitary logging. As a result of these actions, the potential damages are estimated at 3.5 million hryvnias.
One of the criminal proceedings concerns the forestry master of the Sarny forestry, who is accused of illegal logging that resulted in damages amounting to 127 thousand hryvnias.
Additionally, under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor’s office, the forestry master of the State Enterprise “Forests of Ukraine” and two of his accomplices have also been notified of suspicion. They are charged with the illegal logging of pine and oak trees totaling approximately 1 million hryvnias, carried out in conspiracy.
