Pavlo Dorokhov, born on July 5, 1988, in Rivne, received his education at School No. 12 and later continued his studies at the National University of Water Management and Nature Use.

After completing his education, he worked in the construction sector. In the summer of 2023, he voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“He was respected and valued by his comrades – he was always there to help. Pavlo quickly adapted to military conditions, becoming a kind and compassionate person, the true soul of the company. He did not like to talk about his life on the front lines, even about his injuries, so as not to worry his loved ones,” noted the defender’s brother-in-law.
Unfortunately, 37-year-old soldier Pavlo Dorokhov passed away on January 24, 2026, in one of the hospitals in Lviv, having sustained injuries in the Donetsk direction.
The defender is survived by his parents, sister, and brother-in-law.
The farewell to Pavlo Dorokhov will take place on Thursday, January 29, at 10:00 AM in Independence Square in Rivne. A memorial service will be held at the Holy Protection Cathedral. The soldier will be buried at the Alley of Heroes in the ‘Nove’ cemetery in the regional center.
