An incident involving a serviceman from the territorial recruitment center and the police occurred in Rivne on Malorivnenska Street when a driver attempted to flee during notification measures.

According to official data, the event took place on May 16 at approximately 12:20 at a mobile checkpoint. National Police officers stopped a citizen of Ukraine who was wanted and subject to conscription for military service.
When law enforcement officers provided him with a legal requirement to proceed to the TCC and SP, the man attempted to flee, resulting in him hitting a serviceman from the territorial recruitment center and social support. As a result of the incident, the military sustained bodily injuries, and the vehicle of the notification group was also damaged.
The offender was detained by officers of the National Police of Ukraine, who are currently conducting initial investigative actions to establish all the circumstances of the event.
The injured serviceman was taken to a medical facility for necessary assistance. The TCC reported that the details of the incident are not being disclosed at this time due to an ongoing pre-trial investigation.
