Recently, during the curfew, in Rivne on Zakhysnykiv Mariupolya Street, police stopped a Volkswagen vehicle driven by a 73-year-old man.

During the inspection, the officers noticed that one of the passengers, an 18-year-old citizen, appeared nervous upon seeing the police. They decided to conduct a superficial check and found a zip bag containing a green powdery substance in his backpack, which resembled a narcotic substance.
Investigators were called to the scene to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.
Investigators have already opened a criminal case under part 1 of Article 309 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for liability for the illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, or mailing of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, or their analogs without the intent to sell.
