Rivnian Oleksandr Kukliuk has proposed the introduction of a unified numbering system for urban transport routes.

He notes that having the same numbers for buses and trolleybuses in the city can lead to confusion among passengers.

“The numbering of bus and trolleybus routes has overlaps — specifically routes 1, 4, and 7, which are different for buses and trolleybuses. IT IS NECESSARY: to implement a unified numbering system for urban routes, regardless of whether the route is served by buses or trolleybuses,” the petition states.

Among the proposed steps:

  • reserve numbers up to “20” for trolleybuses, considering the future development of the network,
  • start numbering bus routes from 20 (for example, instead of 1, 4, 7 — use 21, 24, 27).

As of the morning of October 22, the petition has gathered 9 signatures.
