Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets reported that the Ukrainian negotiation team has submitted lists for the exchange promised by US President Donald Trump. However, the Russian side is delaying the process, blaming Ukraine for this.

Lubinets noted: “The delay is solely due to the position of the Russian side… When you have even agreed on something with the Russian side, you can never be 100% sure that it will be honored.” He also added that “in reality, work has not stopped. Working and negotiation processes continue every day.”
According to him, the Ukrainian side has fulfilled all its obligations and submitted all necessary lists.
First and foremost, the Ukrainian side seeks the return of severely wounded individuals and those who have been held captive since 2022.
