The accident occurred yesterday, October 24, at around 7:30 PM on the “Domanoe-Kovel-Chernivtsi-Terebleche” highway in the village of Maslyanka.

According to the investigator, a 34-year-old driver of a “Volvo” from the village of Puhachivka did not take into account the safe speed of travel, which caused him to lose control. As a result, he veered into the oncoming lane and crashed into a guardrail, leading to the truck overturning.
Rescuers freed the driver, who was trapped in the cabin. Medical personnel reported that the victim sustained a fractured shoulder blade and multiple bruises.
An investigation into the circumstances of the incident is currently underway.
