Veres Lineup: Horokh – Stamulys, Tsipota, Honcharenko, Smiyan, Kharatin, Klyots (Kucherov, 38), Kutsiya (Wally, 69), Boyko, Sharai (Korniychuk, 89), Wesli (Sten, 69). Substitutes: Stefanyuk, Kozhukhar, Protasievich, Checher, Vovchenko, Hodya, Aydin, Nongo.

This draw marked the first instance where Kolos and Veres played to a tie on the field in Kovalivka. At the beginning of the match, few believed in a change of tradition, but just two minutes in, Andriy Tsurikov played a one-two with Artem Husol, delivering a perfect pass to the far post. Maksym Smiyan managed to intercept the ball, providing backup for his goalkeeper.

Veres responded ten minutes later. Brazilian Wesli moved from the left flank to the center and passed to Vitaliy Boyko, who redirected the ball to Vladyslav Sharai. Unfortunately, Sharai shot straight at the Kolos goalkeeper from a favorable position.

In the first half, there were also two controversial moments when referees did not penalize Kolos players for fouls: first, Yuriy Klymchuk kicked Kai Tsipota in the stomach, and later, Eduard Kozyk elbowed Dmytro Klyots, breaking his nose.

After the break, Veres attempted to attack more actively, but serious chances only arose towards the end of the game. The last combination from the Rivne team ended with a pass to the open Vladyslav Sharai, who shot wide from close range.

This draw was Veres’s first of the new season. Considering the cup match, the team’s unbeaten streak now spans four encounters.
