A series of accidents involving four cars occurred on the highway near the village of Obariv in the Rivne region.
According to information received from the patrol officers, the accident happened because the driver of a “Skoda Octavia” failed to maintain a safe distance.

The 28-year-old driver lost control and crashed into a “Citroen Berlingo.”
As a result of this impact, the “Citroen Berlingo” collided with a “Volkswagen Passat” due to inertia.
The latter, in turn, struck a Fiat Doblo that had stopped to let pedestrians cross at a crosswalk.
The police drew up a report against the driver of the Skoda Octavia, the one responsible for the accident, in accordance with part 1 of Article 124 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (Violation of traffic rules that caused a traffic accident).
