In the 17th round of the Ukrainian Premier League, Veres managed to secure a comeback victory over SK Poltava with a score of 3:2.

The match began with a quick goal in favor of the Poltava team. A Veres defender committed a foul in his own penalty area, resulting in the referee awarding a penalty. Marusych flawlessly converted this opportunity, opening the scoring in the 7th minute.
In the 31st minute of the match, Odaryuk assisted Sukhoruchko, who marked his debut goal with a powerful shot into the corner of Horokh’s goal. However, at the end of the first half, Veres managed to bring intrigue back to the game: Tsipot scored a goal, making the score 1:2.
In the second half, the Veres team actively sought to equalize, and just at the beginning of the second half, Kharatin converted a penalty, leveling the score at 2:2. Then, in the 66th minute, Ndukwe sent the ball into the near corner of Minchev’s goal, securing the victory for Veres.
